Josh, you live on in the hearts of all U. S. Marines!!

Monica, my deepest and sincerest condolences on the loss of such a fine lil marine like Josh. He and I had been in constant contact over the years. I know that he was awfully tired of all the hospital stays, tests, etc. He'll never be 'missed' because he will always live in the heart of every single U. S. MARINE.

Not only did Josh extend his loving hand to marines, but he also helped by sending others boxes and mail...like my navy daughter.

My computer crashed and I didn't receive the emails but let me tell you sweety that my marine at Camp Pendleton called me with the sorrowful news. We had just lost my mother on Aug. 16. I KNOW that Josh is now healthy enough, strong enough, tall enough to stand side by side all of our military guarding the gates of Heaven. The Ultimate Honor.

I am so glad that through the internet I was able to meet such a fine young man. He became a real legend and source of strength to those deployed.

Subject: service for Josh

We will be having a service for Josh at Calvery Chapel in Downey, California on September 26th 1 - 3pm.

Calvery Chapel
12808 Woodruff Ave
Downey, CA 90242

Trying to put a slide show together, if you are unable to attend but have a picture of Josh and yourself, please send it so we can get it in there.

We did get permission to take Josh to Pendelton. They are allowing our family and military that want to make the hike up Old Smokey in area 53. For those Marines that would like to attend you can email me and I can give you the information.

SIncerely,

Monica

I don't know why I didn't think of posting this sooner...
This is an article that I was linked to from a stranger who also sat down and looked into Josh's history. Well, that statement there just sounded wrong but I hope you understand what I am trying to say.

It's hard to look at my yahoo buddy list at his name knowing i'll never see him log on ever again. I just can't bring myself to delete it either... Something inside me can't help but wish that one day, I see the notification pop up on my screen telling me he's logged on. But we only wish for things we can't have.

Farewell, Josh. If anyone deserves to wear a uniform and guard the gates of heaven, you're certainly the first to be in line. Until we meet again, goodbye. And i'll be sure to do whatever I can for our Marines. <3
